“What Thomas is to the world of Tank Engines, Tony is to the world of Tour Guides. In Cambridge. In other words; A really useful tour guide.
Just don’t mention the other place. Or Yawn.
Your visit to Cambridge will be immeasurably enriched from spending a couple of hours with the excellent Tony Rodgers and much like Thomas the tank engine, you’ll leave feeling well chuffed!”

“My wife and I visited on a Friday afternoon in November. It was clear and cold. Tony Rodgers took us around the major colleges, chapels, the historic Cavendish lab, and the Eagle Pub (open window + RAF room).
He had a lot of stories, knew all the costs of attendance, and shared some of the quirky traditions of Cambridge. Tony is not only a graduate of Cambridge, but was also a rugby player and rugby coach for the University.
He had a great sense of humor and was not too tough on Americans. We toured an extra 30 minutes over the regular 90 minute tour. We wish Tony the best.“

“Tony was recommended to us by the hotel and he did not disappoint.
We had a private tour which lasted much longer than the allotted time, but he kept checking that we were happy to keep going as he had more to show us. All good.
A great couple of hours with a very knowledgeable and fascinating guide. We would fully recommend the experience and Tony personally.
A highlight of our trip.“

“My family and I were blessed to have a tour of Cambridge with Tony Rodgers.
We recommend visiting Cambridge, but not without a tour to truly appreciate the significance of the town and the University. Tony is a kind, funny, knowledgeable person and a great teacher. He kept us entertained for several hours as he brought the town to life during our walking tour.
Our vacation to England was highlighted by tours at multiple sites, and Tony’s tour of Cambridge was the best of them all!“

“A very enjoyable couple of hours spent with Tony, I was the only person on his excellent walking tour of Cambridge, undeterred by the cold weather, Tony made this tour of the city and predominately the colleges a memorable experience.
I was lucky enough to be able to see inside the chapel in Trinity college and latterly enjoyed a half in the RAF bar in the famous pub, the Eagle and learnt alot about DNA whilst thawing out at the end of this interesting and amusing tour.
Tony is extremely knowledgeable and amusing individual who certainly knows his Cambridge History.
One of the best tours I have experienced, excellent value for money, booked via the tourist information centre, who also provide an excellent service.“
